For the first time ever, fans of the beloved singer Whitney Houston will get to see and hear the late singer perform live almost three years after her tragic death through a CD/DVD live album that will be available this fall.

'Whitney Houston Live: Her Greatest Performances' will be released this November

Grammy-winning record producer Clive Davis, who is recognized as the person who discovered Houston, announced on Tuesday's (Sept 16th) 'Today' show that 'Whitney Houston Live: Her Greatest Performances' will be released on November 10th. The album will be available in the format of a 16-song CD and a 19-song DVD.

Houston's most iconic live moments will be featured, which includes her unforgettable rendition of 'The Star Spangled Banner' at the 1991 Super Bowl, her 1985 performance of 'You Give Good Love' on The Tonight Show,' and her performance of 'I Will Always Love You' at The Concert for a New South Africa in 1994.

"She without question was the greatest vocalist in the world. I want history to know that. This CD/DVD will establish that there was no one like her. It's a phenomenal album," Davis said on Today.

Houston suddenly died on February 11th 2012 at a Beverly Hills Hotel. The Grammy Award-winning singer's body was discovered in the bathtub of her suit, and it was later determined that the cause of death was an accidental drowning, as well as drug use.

Davis also stated he believes this new live album will help the late star live on in fans' for years to come. "This is her legacy," he said. "It was a marvel that she was as powerful and as incredible as she was, but bittersweet that she died too young."
