Whitney Houston's hit ballad I Will Always Love You has been named the most popular U.S. love song, according to a new poll released just before Valentine's Day (14Feb13).
The tragic singer's romantic track has been ranked number one in an adult survey conducted by statistics-gathering company Harris Interactive, while Unchained Melody by The Righteous Brothers is close behind in second place.
When a Man Loves a Woman by Percy Sledge comes in third, Joe Cocker's You Are So Beautiful lands at four and How Deep Is Your Love by the Bee Gees rounds out the top five.
Other love songs to make the list include Aerosmith's I Don't Want to Miss a Thing, Let's Get It On by Marvin Gaye, and Bryan Adams' Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves theme (Everything I Do) I Do It for You.
