Whitney Houston will be honoured posthumously at Sunday's (20May12) Billboard Music Awards as part of a major tribute to the late star.
Organisers of the big event, which will be staged in Las Vegas, have announced the tragic singer will be named the recipient of the Billboard Millennium Award at the prizegiving.
The honour will follow a tribute performed by Houston's Sparkle co-star Jordin Sparks and singer/songwriter John Legend.
The late star's daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, and her sister-in-law, Pat Houston, will accept the award.
Houston died in February (12), aged 48.
Last year's (11) Millennium Award recipient was Beyonce.
