The family of Whitney Houston including her mother Cissy Houston, her brother Gary Houston and her sister-in-law Pat Houston watch the unveiling of the star's four waxwork figures at Madame Tussauds in New York.
Prior to the unveiling, an announcer talks over the highlights of Whitney's career including her 400 plus awards and her seminal single 'I Will Always Love You'. Gary then takes the opportunity to sing the US National Anthem 'The Star-Spangled Banner' in honour of his sister. After the unveiling, Pat is asked what Whitney would think about it all. 'She would be overjoyed. A little taken aback. wow!' She said. 'She would be honoured just being honoured by Madame Tussauds. and I think it would give the fans an opportunity to embrace the legacy of a phenomenon because that's exactly what she was.' Gary and Pat both pose with the waxworks, but Cissy refuses. 'I love it, don't get misconstrued why I didn't but I don't want to. I love it and I'm proud of her. Thank you so much' she says.
