Will Arnett is set to feature in another Netflix show, but this time it will be his very own creation. The 44-year-old actor will co-write and star in the upcoming comedy 'Flaked,' which centres on the self-proclaimed "guru."

With a mix of drama and comedy, the new series will be set in Venice, California, and depict how a man called Chip (the guru) "falls for the object of his best friend's fascination," according to The Hollywood Reporter.

As the lies and backstabbing begin to become more frequent, the guru's public image of significance and importance eventually begins to diminish. Netflix has ordered eight episodes of 'Flaked,' which will exclusively premiere on the streaming service in 2016.

THR also notes that Arnett will pen the series alongside co-creator Mark Chappell ('The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret'). Electus founder Ben Silverman, manager Peter Principato and 'Arrested Development' creator Mitch Hurwitz will be executive producers.

"We are thrilled to be the home of Will Arnett's next series, and look forward to Chip joining his repertoire alongside such diverse and inspirational characters such as Gob, Bojack and Batman," said Netflix's VP of original content Cindy Holland in a statement.

Arnett, who voices the main character on the Netflix animated series 'BoJack Horseman,' added: "We're very excited to partner with Netflix-- the home of original, original content - and the network I knew would be the ideal home for this passion project."
