Ron Burgundy is back and selling cars for Dodge?
Will Ferrell's 'Ron Burgundy' shows he is a jack of all trades as the television broadcaster is now selling cars. The car company 'Dodge' have announced a new partnership with Ferrell's character from the popular comedy 'Anchorman' by releases a series of videos. Burgundy will be the face of their new 2014 Dodge Durango ad campaign.
The news crew will back back in December to take on a 24-hour news channel
The car brand posted on their twitter account "Proud to announce one of the best Rons in the business is the new face of Durango. #BurgundyDodge http://www.burgundydodge.com."
Chrysler chief marketing officer Olivier Francois made the announcement at the ANA Masters of Marketing conference in Phoenix on October 4th and previewed three videos of the San Diego news anchor, with Burgundy wearing his bright red suit standing next to their black 2014 Durango Dodge.
Francois described these as little "previews", which will be followed by another 67 videos for the internet as "It's Massive".
According to Burgundy, the Dodge Durange has 360 horsepower, making it better than a horse and its glove-compartment can fit "two turkey sandwiches or 70 packs of gum, say whaaaat".

The new partnership comes at a time when Ron Burgundy is set to hit the big screen once again for the intelligently titled sequel 'Anchorman 2: the Legend Continues'. The film, released by Paramount Pictures, will follow Burgundy and his news crew as they leave San Diego for New York to join a 24-hour news channel.
Burgundy also is also in the process of penning his memoirs, and he commented on his literary work;
"I don't know if it's the greatest autobiography ever written. I'm too close to the work, I will tell you this much: the first time I sat down and read this thing, I cried like a goddamn baby, and you can take that to the bank!"
'Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues' will hit theatres on December 20th 2013.
