'I Am Britney Jean' will premiere on the network on 22 December
Britney Spears hand been handed her very own documentary. The singer will appear in a one-off, behind the scenes look at her life and career as she prepares for her two-year residency at the Planet Hollywood Resort in Las Vegas, shown exclusively on E! next month.
Britney Jean will be out at the beginning of next month
E! will air the 90-minute TV special, titled I Am Britney Jean, on Sunday, 22 December at 8 pm, five days before she is due to begin her two-year residency at the Vegas resort. The documentary will pick up as Britney is putting the final touches to her album and follows her as she makes the final preparations for her Vegas showcase. The doc. will also feature a number of interviews with the singer, in what E! claims (via THR) will be her "most candid and revealing interviews ever."

The singer will hook-up with Will.i.am, T.I. and her sister, Jamie Lynn, on the release
Britney Spears has been coy with the details for her upcoming and eagerly anTIcipated eighth album, Britney Jean, since she announced its release earlier this year. With things moving at a snail's pace, every little revelation is like a cause for celebration, and our latest reason for celebrating came yesterday (12 Nov.) afternoon, when the singer unveiled the track list for her new album.
Britney Jean is out next month
The list had managed to make its way online without Britney's authority earlier this week, prompting the star to tweet the full track list herself soon after. She tweeted, "Sneaky hackers always trying to ruin my surprises. Here is the TRUE #BritneyJeanTrackList," along with a picture of the back of the album.

The singer worked with Will.i.am and Sia on the second single from her upcoming album, 'Britney Jean'
Britney Spears has slowed the pace down dramatically for her next single, wiping the sweat from the rambunctious 'Work Bitch,' to make a much sweeter smelling second single. 'Perfume' is a much more delicate release, a hark back to some of her more successful ballads like 'Lucky,' and as the singer herself revealed recently, it is also a much more personal release than her raunchy first single.
Britney Jean is out 3 December
"'Perfume' is incredibly special to me because it hits close to home, and I think the story is relatable to everyone," Spears said to E! News about her latest single. "Everyone's been through an insecure moment in a relationship that's left them vulnerable and I think this song captures that."

The star took to Twitter to finally reveal the name of her next album, unveiling the cover art along the way
Britney Spear has been coy about her upcoming eighth studio release, keeping quiet on the name of the album and what we may expect to find on it, other than her previous single, 'Work Bitch,' that is. On Firday, 25 October, however, Britney decided to start spilling the beans and not only revealed the name of the album, but also uploaded an image of the cover art on to her Twitter page.
Britney Jean is out on 3 December
If this wasn't enough, the singer then went on to upload a hand-written message for her fans on to her official website. In it, she explained the Britney Jean would be her "most personal record" to date. The singer also revealed in the note that the album still isn't finished, but it will be ready in time for the scheduled 3 December release. She insisted that she is "putting the finishing touches" to the album in the coming days and said that the release will be an eclectic one, saying, "I want to show you the different sides of Britney Spears."
Blu and Jewel's babies are growing up fast and developing an eagerness to learn about the world outside their Brazilian bird sanctuary run by kind owners Linda and Tulio. The free-spirited Jewel is also getting itchy feet, with the death-defying adventures of 'Rio' now wearing off, and is determined to venture out into the Amazon rainforest to meet other blue macaws and teach her children about life in the jungle. Joining them once again are their colourful avian friends Pedro, Nico and Rafael, and Luiz the bulldog who, just like Blu, struggle to adapt to the wild. On their new journey, Jewel meets her father after a long time apart, though he is anything but warm towards her slightly awkward mate. The in laws are the least of Blu's worries though as Nigel the evil Sulphur-crested Cockatoo is set to return once again with a revenge scheme on his mind.
'Rio 2' is the brilliant and wacky sequel to 2011's 'Rio' and sees the return of director Carlos Saldanha ('Ice Age', 'Robots') with a new co-screenwriter Don Rhymer ('Big Momma's House', 'The Santa Clause 2'). As well as all your favourite characters from the original movie, you'll get to see a lot more adorable new creatures as it hits UK cinemas in 3D on April 4th 2014.

The Australian pop star has joined The Voice's judging panel.
Kylie Minogue is making sure that her new big red judges chair on BBC's The Voice moulds to fit her petite posterior ahead of the talent show's series three kick-off in January. The Australian singer has joined the contest for the next season along with Kaiser Chiefs' frontman Ricky Wilson after previous judges Jessie J and Danny O'Donoghue left the show.
Kylie Prepares To Judge Britain's Singing Talent.
Minogue will join Wilson as well as existing judges Tom Jones and Will.i.am in The Voice's 2014 return. Promo shots released show that Minogue has taken the third seat, with Jones and Will.i.am seated directly either side of her and Wilson on her far left.

The third 'American Idol' judge has been announced. Dr. Luke will be joining Keith Urban and Jennifer Lopez on the judging panel for season 13 of the reality show.
Dr. Luke will be joining Keith Urban and Jennifer Lopez on the judging panel of American Idol. Dr. Luke a.k.a. Lukas Gottwald is the third judge to be announced with another yet to be agreed upon. E! first reported the news.
Dr Luke (L) with Katy Perry and Max Martin (R) with their ASCAP Awards in 2012.
Gottwald is a songwriter and producer who is responsible for the likes of Kelly Clarkson's 'Since U Been Gone'; Kesha's 'Tik Tok' and Katy Perry's 'California Gurls'. As Urban and Lopez are involved in the performance side of the music industry, Gottwald is likely to provide an interesting perspective when judging the televised singing competition.
'All Eyes' are on Britney Spears' newly unveiled countdown clock. But what is the clock counting down to in 27 days and 20 hours' time?
A countdown timer has appeared on pop star Britney Spears' website that is counting down the days, hours and seconds to 9.30am (ET) on 17th September. The words "All Eyes On Me" caption the timer, provoking speculation that this could be the name of a new single or her greatly anticipated eighth studio album since 2011's Femme Fatale.
What Could 'All Eyes On Me' Be?
Britney has released material this year already, as part of other projects. She collaborated with Will.i.am on top 5 hit, 'Scream and Shout,' and sang the soundtrack 'Ooh La La' for The Smurfs 2 movie. According to Billboard, the 'Toxic' singer confirmed earlier this month that her new record would bear a heavy influence from Will.i.am and would have "a lot of guitar." The Black Eyed Peas singer and producer tweeted his excitement for Britney's new songs, writing "The song @britneyspears did with #williamORBIT is fabulous and out of this world... #THEbritneyARMYwillBEproud."
Cheryl has been rejected from a judging job on The Voice after being sacked from The X Factor.
Perhaps Cheryl Cole's future doesn't lie in talent contest judging. After being sacked by The X Factor for having an unintelligible accent, she's been told she won't be making the move to the BBC's The Voice singing show.
Cole's Time As A Talent Judge May Be Over.
Cole, 30, has allegedly been rejected from the The Voice judge job despite Jessie J and Danny O'Donoghue's exits meaning there are two big red chairs going cold. The Sun reports that Cheryl's snub comes as a result of her being still too closely linked with The X Factor, with a source saying "Even though Cheryl is a massive name, she's still too closely identified with The X Factor. Producers want to bring on stars who don't have that kind of previous relationship."

Beyonce's 50 million Pepsi deal is unprecedented in the celebrity world.
Beyonce's £50 million Pepsi deal opened up a wider debate on celebrities, advertising and promotion last year, with Mrs Carter seemingly having no qualms selling sugary carbonated drinks despite helping Michelle Obama's Let's Move fitness campaign.
For years, Pepsi and Coca-Cola have been criticized for targeting children, with many arguing that when consumed to excess the drinks have negative effects on long-term health. However, in a recent interview with Flaunt, Beyonce rejected the idea of hypocrisy, saying, "Pepsi is a brand I've grown up seeing my heroes collaborate with. The company respects musicians and artistry. I wouldn't encourage any person, especially a child, to live life without balance."
The singer - the biggest R&B star in the world - has been heavily criticized for lending her name to the brand.

Keith Urban will return to judge American Idol, Fox executives confirmed on Thursday (1st August). Jennifer Lopez is currently in talks with the show.
Keith Urban will return to the American Idol judging panel. The show will start its 13th season with a new (well returning) set of judges and will, possibly, have a new format. Fox entertainment Chief Kevin Reilly told the press on Thursday (1st August) at the Television Critics Association press tour that Urban would definitely be returning to judge.

No one in the Stone's camp knows anything about it.
The list of artists supposedly boycotting Florida because of the controversial Stand Your Ground law reads like a who’s who of modern music. Usher, Rod Stewart, Madonna, Kanye West, Rihanna, R. Kelly, Wale, Jay Z, and the Rolling Stones are all on it, but are the latter really in the boycott club?
The Stones performing in Hyde Park
A spokeswoman for the Rolling Stones, she said she was "not aware of this," according to Mother Jones, who contacted her, and actually broke the news to her. Representatives for the band in the UK added: "nobody's heard anything about this,” which suggests the band really aren’t involved in Stevie Wonder’s campaign against the Stand Your Ground Law, which is thought to have been a key factor in George Zimmerman’s acquittal in the Trayvon Martin case.
Singer Will.i.am is keeping buttoned up on whether he'll return to BBC talent contest The Voice or not. Could he be choosing his own studies over helping wannabes learn to sing?
For two series, Black Eyed Peas singer Will.i.am has been a judge and vocal coach on the swivel-chaired singing competition that sees thousands of popstar hopefuls whittled down to just one winner. When asked by BBC Radio 1's Newsbeat whether he'd embrace the idea of reprising his role for a third series, the performer and producer seemed to be being deliberately evasive.
Will.i.am's A Busy Guy.
The 38-year old, upon being questioned whether he'd take part in series three after giving away his salary for the show to the Prince's Trust, he replied: "No. What that means is I paid to do The Voice that year. That means the hotels and the travel and the food, I paid to be on TV, because the money I would have earned went to kids in the Prince's Trust to learn science, technology and mathematics. That's what that means." When the question was put to him again, he replied vaguely "I did it the second year and it was a great experience." According to the BBC, they are still in talks with Will.i.am - AKA William James Adams - along with fellow judge Sir Tom Jones regarding their return to the show.
Jay-Z scored his first UK No.1 with Magna Carta Holy Grail.
Incredibly, Jay-Z has landed his first ever UK number one album, with Magna Carta Holy Grail storming the chart and holding off Mumford & Sons and Rod Stewart. The rapper's previous highest-charting album was the 2011 collaborate effort with Kanye West, Watch the Throne, which entered at No.3.
Holy Grail managed to hold off Mumford & Sons' Babel despite a surge in sales following the group's triumphant headlining show at the Glastonbury Festival. Jay-Z also comfortably outsold Rod Stewart's number-one album Time. Passenger took the third spot with All The Little Light, with Canadian crooner Michael Buble dropped two places to No.4 with To Be Loved.
Jay-Z has been performing in the UK this weekend, headlining the second night of the Wireless music festival at the Queen Elizabeth Park on the former Olympics site. "I feel the love tonight," Jay-Z, 43, told the crowd, "You've been an incredible audience tonight." The rapper - still one of the biggest hip-hop acts in the world - was joined by Timberlake during the encore for a rendition of Holy Grail.

Jessie J will not return for the third season of The Voice, which could make the other judges think twice about singing on the dotted line.
Jessie J is to leave her role as coach on BBC1's reality singing contest The Voice, blaming overseas touring and promotional commitments for her new record. In fairness, the BBC was lucky to hang on to the pop-star for its second season after she delayed committing to the show following Leanne Mitchell's surprising win.
The corporation - which has already announced a third season of the show - said it was "so sorry" to see her go. You bet they were. Though Jessie J is often considered a polarising figure in music circles - perhaps for her wacky idiosyncrasies and the fact she tells contestants how it is to be a woman in the music industry ever week - she is absolutely key to The Voice's target audiences. She came to prominence with her debut single 'Do It Like a Dude' though it was the smash-hit 'Price Tag' that catapulted her to global fame - the catchy track topping the charts in nineteen countries including the United Kingdom, New Zealand and France. Her debut album Who You Are sold 2.5 copies and fifth single Domino broke into the Top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the US - no mean feat for a British pop artist.

Winner of BBC's The Voice, Andrea Begley speaks out for better treatment of disabled fans at gigs and details her plans for a successful music career.
The partially sighted winner of 2013's singing talent show The Voice, Andrea Begley, has voiced her concerns over disabled fans' experience at gigs. "I have had some frustrating experiences at gigs and festivals," confessed Begley, who apparently celebrated her victory by going to a Laura Marling gig. "Sometimes access can be poor because of lots of steps and poor lighting. But often the problem can lie with a lack of knowledge on the part of staff. I think it is essential for venues to train all their staff in disability awareness so as they are able to deal sensitively with disabled customers."
Andrea Begley, Winner Of The Voice 2013.
Hailing from County Tyrone, the singer lost 90% of her vision after a degenerative childhood disease, yet plays guitar and piano and hopes to someday collaborate with the likes of Adele, Newton Faulkner and Ed Sheeran. The 27 year-old from Northern Ireland beat favourite Leah McFall to sign a £100,000 recording contract. McFall was being coached by The Voice judge and former Black Eyed Peas', Will.i.am, who seemed set on knocking the wind out of the ecstatic winner's sails with an odd, unsportsmanly tweet: "You should feel the audiences vibration in the room tonight after the public's vote... its unexplainable... so sad... perplexed." According to Yahoo!'s omg!, Begley was personally congratulated by the American singer and producer after the gig, saying she has "no hard feelings."
The Great Gatsby movie may not have received universal praise and critical acclaim since its silver screen release but that doesn't mean you should write off or disregard its soundtrack. What do critics know anyway? There seems to have been far too much analysis of the film's sub-text and possible parallels with the global economy rather than old fashioned cinematic enjoyment. Is the world more greedy now, more star struck, more in need of fame and fortune? Have we all become more self-absorbed, self-obsessed, materialistic and vacuous or is it just that, nowadays, it's more in plain sight, easier to identify and more readily hyped and publicised. (The film adaptation is, after all, taken from the F. Scott Fitzgerald book published nearly ninety years ago.)
Setting aside any need to put the film on the psychiatrist's chair (to see whether Fitzgerald's cautionary tale of excess rings true) and taking the film and its soundtrack merely on musical merit alone, I think it safe to say that without doubt it is a triumph. Any suggestion that it is 'style over substance' is missing the whole point. The Jazz Age was all about style, all about how opulent and how lavish you could possibly be. Yes, it may have been a little vulgar but it was all about extravagance and living the dream, even if the dream was ultimately a lie.
The soundtrack of The Great Gatsby captures the very essence of the post war age, an age of optimism and high spirits where the grim realities of the not too distant past could be suspended. You can lose yourself in the cocktails, flapper dresses, pearls and spats, cigarette holders and dinner jackets quite easily. The allure of the decadent lifestyle being flaunted by the charming and charismatic Jay Gatsby has an intoxicating appeal that is difficult to resist. Both Baz Luhrmann, the film's director, and executive music producer Jay Z have done a meticulous job in making that come to life, brilliantly mixing a twenties thread through a contemporary score.

Miley Cyrus' new single is an R&B party anthem. Obviously.
Miley Cyrus has been in the headlines pretty much every day for the past couple of weeks. Her relationship with the Australian actor Liam Hemsworth is said to be on the rocks and her wedding plans in tatters, though the 20-year-old has dusted herself down and premiered the first single from her as-yet-untitled new album.
'We Can't Stop' - co-written by Cyrus, Mike Will and Rock City - is a sort of R&B party anthem that will no doubt feature in the upper echelons of the Billboard chart. Highlight lyrics include Miley wailing, "La-da-di-da-di, we like to party/Dancing with Molly, doing whatever we cant." With a vocal distortion effect, young Miley also says she's "shaking it like we at a strip club" and declares "It's my mouth, I can say what I want to." You sure can Miley, you sure can.
The singer first announced the single on the 'blue carpet' at the 2013 Billboard Music Awards, confirming it would be the first single from the follow-up to 2010's Can't Be Tamed, set for release in the fall. "I feel like I can really be myself," Cyrus said of her next record, "I really have more of a connection of who I am, and I feel like I can maybe express that more in my music now."

Leanne Mitchell probably won't even make the Top 100 with her debut album.
Oh dear. Last year's winner of The Voice, Leanne Mitchell, is likely to miss the Top 100 on Sunday's Official Chart rundown after selling less than 500 copies of her self-titled debut album. Over seven million people tuned in to watch the holiday camp entertainer triumph on last season's show and land a record contract with music giant Universal.
However, the label appears to have dawdled over any recorded material whilst simultaneously failing to keep Mitchell in the press, at all. The singer and her mentor Tom Jones will be scratching their heads at the result, given runner-up Bo Bruce saw her album go in at No.10 in the charts and another contender in the 2012 series, Tyler James, managed No.47 with his debut release in October.
The sales disaster will leave many of the singers competing on the current season of The Voice whether it's even worth winning the competition. On ITV's X-Factor show, most of its successful acts - JLS, One Direction, Olly Murs - have failed to win the competition, though last year's winner James Arthur shifted almost 900,000 copies of his single Impossible in just three weeks.
