Actor Wilmer Valderrama Has Urged Fans Struggling With Dark Thoughts To Get Help Following The Apparent Suicide Of His Former Co-star Sam Sarpong.
The British-born actor and model died on Tuesday (27Oct15) after jumping from a bridge in Los Angeles, where he had lived since the age of 11.
He enjoyed roles in TV shows including My So-Called Life, 24, Veronica Mars and ER, and co-hosted MTV's comedy show Yo Momma with Valderrama in 2006 and 2007.
Valderrama, the creator of the show, paid tribute to Sarpong on Instagram.com and encouraged those with troubled feelings to speak up and tell someone.
"I am so sad & so confused... Sam did it all, believed in dreaming bigger than anyone around him," he writes. "We made memories together that will last us forever, thank you for sharing your talent with me and the world... You were a light everywhere you went and I couldn't be more proud of the journey you traveled... You just left us too early Sam... We will miss you and pray for you... Once again thank you for all those years you dedicated to our show, we couldn't have done it without you!... Find your peace my brother!
