Wiz Khalifa has said he accepts Kanye West’s apology for his twitter tirade last week. West attacked Khalifa with a series of tweets last Thursday when he mistakenly thought the weed-loving rapper had referenced his wife Kim Kardashian in a post.

In the run up to his hugely anticipated seventh album, Kanye West has spent Wednesday afternoon dissing fellow rapper Wiz Khalifa on Twitter, in an incredible string of 27 tweets that also took aim at Khalifa’s ex Amber Rose and their child.

The rather alarming spat started on Tuesday (January 26th), when Kanye announced that he was changing the name of his forthcoming record again, from Swish to Waves, having already called it So Help Me God for most of last year.

Rapper Wiz Khalifa was reportedly cited by police for public urination on Saturday in Pittsburg. Khalifa (real name Cameron Jibril Thomaz) was said to have been literally caught with his pants down by police, while taking an outdoor bathroom break behind a bar.

According to the Associated Press, the incident occurred at 2:30 am on Saturday behind a bar called The Flats on Pittsburgh's South Side. Khalifa was not taken to jail, but instead he was cited for public urination.

Hip-hop artist and model Amber Rose has delivered a moving speech during her SlutWalk event, publicly forgiving two men in her life who have criticised her using sexist language and ‘slut-shaming’ terminology – her ex-boyfriends Kanye West and Wiz Khalifa.

Rose, 31, shared her experiences of sexist behaviour and slut-shaming in an emotional speech during the rally on Saturday (October 3rd) in Los Angeles. She has also recently set up the Amber Rose Foundation, a non-profit organisation aimed at highlighting the same issues.

Rapper Wiz Khalifa was reportedly handcuffed by officers at LAX airport on Saturday evening for refusing to get off his hoverboard, according to TMZ. Khalifa has since shared a video on Instagram of the incident, which shows him being restrained by officers while protesting that he is not resisting arrest.

Wiz Khalifa is on top of the UK chart for a second week with his Paul Walker tribute single ‘See You Again’ from the Furious 7 soundtrack. According to the Official Charts Company the single added another 142,000 combined chart sales to its total tally this week, after becoming the fastest selling single of the year so far.

‘See You Again’ has also broken its own record as the UK’s most streamed record ever, with 3.72 million listens in the last seven days, beating last week’s total of 3.68 million. “I was really honoured to be asked to be a part of this song in paying tribute to Paul Walker. I hope we did him proud,” the rapper told the Official Charts Company after retaining the number one spot.

Despite filling for divorce last year, model Amber Rose has said she’d still like to get back together with ex Wiz Khalifa, though the two are currently dating other people. The 31 year old, who is currently on a promotional tour of the UK, ended her relationship with the rapper last September, after allegations that he cheated on her with blonde twins.

Rapper Wiz Khalifa has broken the record for the most Spotify streams in the U.S in 24 hours after his single See You Again was played 4.2 million times on Monday April 13. The song featuring Charlie Puth appeared on the soundtrack for Fast & Furious 7 and now also has the record for most streams in a single week, with 21.9 million.

In addition its reign at the top of the American box offices, Furious 7 has doubled its domination after its soundtrack album roared to Number One in the Billboard 200. The multi-artist compilation climbed a place to the top spot in the week ending April 12th, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

The Furious 7 soundtrack has benefitted from the massive single ‘See You Again’ by Wiz Khalifa, which is also sitting atop the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart this week. The track, a tribute to the movie’s late star Paul Walker, plays over the movie’s end credits.

The song sold 464,000 individual downloads last week, and that translates into 58,000 track equivalent album sales for the soundtrack, over 50% of its 111,000 sales total.
