Dylan Farrow releases another statement which firmly asserts her position on the previous claims she made against film director Woody Allen: "I won't let the truth be buried and I won't be silenced."
One week ago Dylan Farrow began a media frenzy by claiming director Woody Allen sexually abused her when she was just 7 years-old.
The now 28 year-old aired these accusations in the form of an open letter published by the New York Times (Feb 1st).
The only comments made from Woody's camp have been by his lawyers who branded Mia Farrow, Dylan's adopted mother, a "vengeful liar," as they blame her for these claims surfacing.
However, this past Friday Allen finally responded in his own NY Times article.
"Being taught to hate your father and made to believe he molested you has already taken a psychological toll on this lovely young woman," he wrote of Dylan, now 28.
"Its 21 years later and Dylan has come forward with the accusations that the Yale experts investigated and found false," Allen added. "A few little added creative flourishes seem to have magically appeared during our 21-year estrangement."
But it seems the accuser isn't biting and is standing her ground on what she insists is the "truth."
Dylan has released another statement, this time to ABC News, which reads, "Woody Allen has an arsenal of lawyers and publicists but the one thing he does not have on his side is the truth."
She adds, "I hope this is the end of his vicious attacks and of the media campaign by his lawyers and publicists as he's promised. I won't let the truth be buried and I won't be silenced."
In 1992 Allen had an affair with Mia's adopted daughter Soon-Yi Previn, and this led to their split. But what followed was an intense and ugly custody battle over their children, in which the film maker lost.
But with Allen noting that his post in the NY Times was his "final word on this entire matter," it is hard to predict what will happen next.
