Yoko Ono is revealing almost all in a new gallery exhibit featuring a rarely seen video shot the year before she met John Lennon.
The artist/singer has offered a 1965 performance art film, featuring footage of an assistant cutting off her clothes, to the Sherman Contemporary Art Foundation in Paddington, Australia - where it has become a highlight of the venue's new View From Elsewhere exhibition.
The video, titled Cut Piece, was shot as Ono sat before an audience. Her sidekick hacks off various items of clothing until Lennon's widow is left sitting in her underwear.
