Efron recently completed a rehab stint for apparent cocaine and alcohol abuse as his party lifestyle got out of hand and credits his family for helping him get healthier again.
"My family are my rock" he said on Tuesday night, according to People. "I know they're not going anywhere. More and more, I've come to rely on my little brother to keep me grounded. He's 21 now".
The 25 year-old entered rehab in April of this year and TMZ reported sources told the website things began spiralling out of control for the young actor on the set of Seth Rogen's upcoming movie 'Neigbors', which was filmed in a narrow time frame at the beginning of April (2013).
Efron has never confirmed or denied the rehab reports but he did comment on his support system once more, "I know my family's always going to be there. And there's also - as my life changes, sometimes they can't really be there for you ... and I rely on my friends".
The '17 Again' actor is now keeping busy and is starring in upcoming romantic comedy 'That Awkward Moment' alongside Miles Teller and Michael B. Jordan, and he appears fully naked.
