Actor Zachary Quinto Is Heading Back To The New York Stage As The Lead In Acclaimed Play Smokefall.
The Star Trek star has been cast in the MCC Theater production of playwright Noah Haidle's unconventional family drama, which revolves around four generations of a family.
Described as a hybrid of "magical realism" and "manic vaudeville", the production received rave reviews during its world premiere last year (14) at Chicago's Goodman Theatre.
Quinto last appeared on the New York stage in 2013, when he starred in the Tony Award-nominated revival of The Glass Menagerie.
Smokefall is slated to premiere at the Lucille Lortel Theatre on 4 February (15).
