A representative for newlywed Zara Phillips has played down reports suggesting the British royal's husband Mike Tindall has been caught cheating, insisting the allegations have been "blown out of all proportion".
Queen Elizabeth II's granddaughter wed rugby star Tindall in a private ceremony in July (11), but rumours emerged this week (beg12Sep11) alleging the couple's marriage was already in trouble after Cctv images surfaced showing the sportsman affectionately kissing and embracing another woman during a night out at a bar in New Zealand, where he is currently playing for England in the Rugby World Cup.
But a spokesperson for Phillips, daughter of Anne, Princess Royal and Captain Mark Phillips, has dismissed the allegations.
A spokesperson for the royal tells Britain's Daily Telegraph newspaper, "This girl in the video is an old friend of Mike and Zara and has known Mike since university days.
"She is English but lives in Australia and was on holiday in New Zealand. Zara is very relaxed about all this and the whole thing has been blown out of all proportion."
