The former One Directioner has shocked fans with his bold new look after his mother Trisha Malik posted a black and white selfie of her kissing her son's shiny hairless head with girlfriend Gigi Hadid smiling on his other side on Instagram. It came only days after he posted a shot of himself with a buzzcut which, which have to say, suits him a lot better than a full shave. At least he can grow it back to that length quickly enough if he decides it's really not for him.

Louis Tomlinson has revealed that he and Zayn Malik have dropped their feud, following his recent admission that his late mother’s dying wish was for him to patch things up with his former One Direction bandmate.

25 year old Tomlinson was interviewed by late night chat show host Andy Cohen in America, and he revealed that, in accordance with his late mother Johannah Deakin’s wishes, he and former bandmate Zayn had ended their rivalry.

“We got back in touch with each other and kind of cleared the air and talked everything through,” he said on Tuesday night (August 1st). “So we’re mates again, I suppose. Like anything like that, it takes time. But it was nice that we had an opportunity to clear the air and be adults about it, I suppose.”

Zayn Malik has admitted that he is still facing an ongoing battle with anxiety and self-confidence problems, saying that he’s in the process of “working through certain issues”.

The 24 year old former One Direction star, who revealed his personal struggles in an upfront interview early last year when he cancelled a number of solo gigs, has said that most of those problems stem from how he wants to put himself across in public and how he thinks he’ll be perceived.

“I always feel like I'm trying to work through whatever certain issues are around certain subjects,” he said during a new video interview with Vogue. “For me personally, it comes from a place of not wanting to come across as an over-arrogant person that takes themselves too seriously.”

Zayn Malik and his family are in mourning after the death of the singer’s young cousin, who passed away this week at the age of only five after suffering from a brain tumour, with condolences and sympathies pouring in from his fans.

The former One Direction singer’s family have been posting tributes to Arshiya, who is believed to have passed away in the early hours of Tuesday morning (March 28th) having battled the condition for the past two years.

Arshiya's mother, Zileh Malik, posted on Instagram: “An angel wrote in the book of life in my baby’s date of birth, then whispered as she closed the book… 'Too beautiful for earth' R.I.P baby doll.”

Former One Direction star Zayn Malik has spoken once again about how he beat the eating disorder he suffered from during his time with the band, revealing that it was his mother who helped him get better.

The 24 year old singer first revealed details of the disorder, which meant he would sometimes go several days without eating while 1D was on tour, plus a struggle with anxiety, in his autobiography that was released at the end of last year.

“It was a control thing,” he told The Times this week. “Every area of my life was so regimented and controlled, it was the one area where I could say, ‘No, I’m not eating that’. Once I got over the control, the eating just came back into place, super naturally.”

Following her sudden and acrimonious break-up with Zayn Malik several months ago, Perrie Edwards is moving on by purchasing her own property and moving out of the multi-million pound London ‘lovenest’ she shared with the ex-One Direction star.

The Little Mix singer, 22, has moved her belongings out of the six-bedroom London mansion she bought with Zayn for £4.2 million only last summer, and into a more modest property. Just under a week before they drop their new album Made in the A.M., One Direction have released new single ‘History’, which serves as an emotional goodbye to their fans before their upcoming hiatus. Simon Cowell caused a bit of an awkward moment at the Music Industry Trust Awards on Monday evening. Accepting the 24th MITS award in recognition of his contribution to the music and entertainment industry as well as his charity work, the ‘X-Factor’ judge thought the time was right to make a Zayn Malik joke in front of his former bandmates.
