Zayn Malik has signed with Turn First Artists.

The former One Direction star has reportedly agreed to a deal with the management and branding company and will be managed by Sarah Stennett, who was helped guide the careers of artists including Iggy Azalea and Ellie Goulding.

The 22-year-old singer was previously signed to Modest! Management but after quitting the band earlier this year he's now called on Turn First to help him launch his solo career, Billboard reports.

News of Zayn's new management comes after it was revealed he's been working with Frank Ocean's producer, Malay on tracks for his debut album following his fallout with pal Naughty Boy.

A source shared: ''Malay is a hugely successful producer and is well respected within the industry too.

''After the way his relationship with Naughty Boy ended, Zayn could not be in better hands.''

The 'Night Changes' heartthrob - who quit 1D amid claims he'd cheated on his fiancée, Little Mix star Perrie Edwards - was dropped from Simon Cowell's Syco record label earlier this month but will remain on another label within Sony.

A source said at the time: ''Simon has set up a deal that suits Zayn and One Direction.

''Zayn will stay in the Sony family under a different label and it's totally with Simon Cowell's blessing.''
