We're so glad we didn't have to wait too long for this. Zedd and Kesha have just unveiled the latter's first single in three years; a remix of the DJ's song 'True Colors' which Coachella Festival goers will have heard on the first weekend of the event when they collaborated during Zedd's set.

Kesha is back in business with 'True Colors'

'True Colors' featuring Kesha is pretty much exactly the same as the original version Zedd released in 2015 as the title track for his US Dance chart topping album which originally had Rock Mafia's Tim James on vocals. Though this version has adjusted a few choice lines.

Despite her ongoing legal troubles it looks as if Kesha is backing doing what she loves again, making music. On Tuesday (April 26th) the singer posted a picture of herself in the recording studio to Instagram, revealing that she had taken producer Zedd up on his offer to help her make music again.

After Kesha lost the latest round of her legal battle to free herself from her contract with producer Dr Luke, a number of artists have been showing their support for the singer on social media. Now Jack Antonoff, guitarist for The Fun. and DJ Zedd have both reached out to Kesha and offered to help her record new music.

On twitter Antonoff wrote: ‘Hey @kesharose -- don't know what the legal specifics are, but if you want to make something together & then leak it for everyone I'm around. Or just make something and wait on it till that creep can't block you anymore. Standing offer from me and everyone I work with.’

Selena Gomez and Zedd – budding relationship or future collaboration? The pair look really close in a recent pic Selena posted to instagram, with the producer’s arms wrapped around her. So obviously they looked pretty chummy, but the caption – “hint #2 #iwantyoutoknow”, points to a more professional relationship... maybe... right?

Are they or aren't they? And do we really care?

Well, we don’t really need to know about Selena’s personal life to guess that she’s working on new music – likely produced by Zedd himself. The same day (Jan. 24) she shared the Zedd snapshot, she added, "When I shoot movies I record music. When I record music I shoot movies." Zedd is working with Gomez on new music.

Seattle's Decibel Festival 2013 kicks off today (September 25th) and will span through until Sunday (September 29th) featuring a wide variety of live and visual acts as well as DJ sets at some of Seattle's best venues.

Today sees some incredible acts take us through the night with Sydney band Light Year kicking things off at the Q Nightclub to be followed by German DJ Ben Klock who brings us over two hours of his best beats. Over at the Showbox Market, electro-acoustic musician Rena Jones begins proceedings, while London-based DJ Kode9 is on at midnight at Crocodile. We'll also see Peter Hook and The Light, led by the former Joy Division and New Order bassist, round off the night in Neumos.

Due to hit the LA State Historic Park in a couple of weeks is the 2013 Hard Summer Music Festival featuring headline sets from several electro-house artists including Duck Sauce, Knife Party and Justice.

The festival first appeared in 2007 when Destructo (a DJ also known as Gary Richards) began promoting a series of live events that also included Hard New Year's Eve, Hard Haunted Mansion and Hard 13. This year it will take place on August 3rd and 4th and includes four stages including the Ed Bangor Records 10th Anniversary Stage and the Dirty Bird Players Stage.

Other headliners this year are Skrillex and Boys Noize side project Dog Blood, Californian DJ Bassnectar and Aussie duo Empire of the Sun. They will be joined by the no less exciting supporting acts of chart favourites 2 Chainz, Azealia Banks and Rudimental as well as SBTRKT, Flux Pavilion, Flying Lotus, Zedd, Crystal Castles and Baauer.
