Adele felt a "genuine outpouring of love and good will" from the audiences at her shows in Munich.
The 36-year-old singer recently wrapped her residency in the German city after 10 shows and took to social media on Tuesday (03.09.24) to thank every one of the 730,000 fans who came to see her.
She wrote on Instagram: "Wow! Wow! Wow! Munich you were incredible! What a phenomenal experience. I am truly touched by the genuine outpouring of love and good will I felt from every single person who came to every single show. It was the best vibes all round. I’ve never seen anything like these shows it was truly spectacular, and I am beyond honoured to have been asked to do them. I hope those of you who came had the best time at ‘Adele World’. I had the time of my life adding all the personal and immersive touches to it.
I’m overwhelmingly proud of my entire team and teammates. Thank you as always for making me look so f****** good. There truly is no feeling like standing in front of people you’ve never met, belting out a bunch of songs that changed your life that in ways somehow changed theirs too. It’s truly remarkable and an extraordinary story to be able to tell. I’ve been sobbing watching this beautiful video! Danke Munchen!"
Her post comes just days after the 'Someone Like You' hitmaker warned fans she will be away for an "incredibly long time" after she concludes her Las Vegas residency.
She has a handful of dates left to complete of her 'Weekends with Adele' series at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, and once she exits the stage on November 23, she will be embarking on a long hiatus.
In a TikTok clip, she told the crowd at her final date of her Germany residency in Munich on August 31: “I have 10 shows to do, but after that I will not see you for an incredibly long time.
“And I will hold you dear in my heart.”
