The Muppets Trailer

Underneath the famous Muppet Theatre, oil has been discovered. Tex Richman, an oilman, finds out and plans to demolish the theatre so he can start drilling. Walter, Gary and Mary are three friends who also happen to be huge fans of The Muppets. They plan to stage what they call 'The Greatest Muppet Telethon Ever', so they can raise $10 million to stop the destruction of the Muppet Theatre.

With Kermit's help, they reunite the rest of the Muppets, who have all gone their separate ways: Fozzie Bear performs in a Muppets tribute band; Animal is undergoing anger management treatment; Gonzo is a successful plumbing tycoon and Miss Piggy is the plus size fashion editor at Vogue Paris.

The Muppets is directed by James Bobin, who is best known for co-creating the HBO sitcom 'Flight of the Conchords' and directing 'Da Ali G Show'. The Muppets also stars a huge number of cameo appearances, including, but not limited to, comedian Ricky Gervais; 'The Hangover' star Zach Galifianakis; Jack Black; 'Black Swan' actress Mila Kunis and Selena Gomez.
