Paris Jackson has been awarded a temporary restraining order against a man accused of stalking the star.

The 20 year old singer, model and actress daughter of the late pop star Michael Jackson has won the temporary order against Nicholas Lewis Stevens, after he allegedly subjected Paris to a months-long campaign of disturbing behaviour.

According to TMZ, court documents claim that Stevens frequently visited the recording studio where Jackson was working throughout June, apparently on one occasion waiting for more than 15 hours for her to arrive, and also tweeting out that the two were “soul mates”.

Michael Jackson’s daughter Paris has been forced to scrub graffiti off of her late father’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, after it was vandalised by an unknown perpetrator earlier this week.

The 20 year old, the second child and only daughter of the King of Pop’s second marriage to Debbie Rowe, posted a photo of herself scrubbing away red graffiti that somebody had sprayed across the star, which Jackson was awarded back in 1984.

“Some people have no f****** respect. I understand that there is a difference between the radio emblem and the record, but a name is a name.”

It was always going to be a matter of time before Paris Jackson followed in her later father's footsteps and made her singing debut, and indeed she did so earlier this week when she joined her cousin Austin Brown on stage during his New York show.

Michael Jackson’s bodyguards, Bill Whitfield and Javon Beard, have written a book giving their account of the final years of Jackson’s life. The two men spent two-and-a-half years working for Jackson, even continuing out of loyalty once he could no longer afford to pay them. They insist that Jackson was a good father and a good man: “We worked for Mr Jackson. We didn’t work for the King of Pop. We got to see him as a man and a father. It was so good to see the side of him which was so in tune as a parent, from helping them with their homework and making sure they were eating right, to putting them to bed.”

They address the rumour that had dogged Jackson in the years leading up to his death and that has lingered since - that he was a paedophile. Both Whitfield and Beard deny that Jackson was sexually attracted to children, instead claiming he had two secret affairs with women. While they deny that Jackson was a paedophile, they do admit he was eccentric: “He was certainly eccentric…He would go into a store and buy everything. When we stayed in hotels he would buy thousands of books. At one point, he bought a whole bookstore.”

Debbie Rowe, the former wife of the late pop star Michael Jackson, has announced that she is engaged to long-time friend Marc Schaffel. Rowe had two children with the late King of Pop, Paris, 16, and Michael Jr., 17, who were born before she and Jackson divorced in 1999.

Schaffel reportedly asked Rowe to marry him three weeks ago with a 3.55 carat diamond ring but the 55 year-old former nurse was reluctant because she thought that she had cancer. However, she was told on Wednesday by her doctors that she has sarcoidosis, an auto-immune disease that causes patches of swollen tissue to appear throughout the body. There is no known cure for the condition but unlike cancer it is not terribly life threatening.

Debbie Rowe, Michael Jackson's ex-wife, wept whilst standing as a witness in the AEG negligence trial. The trial is into its second day, the suit was filed by Michael Jackson's three children and his mother, Katherine. The suit claims AEG should pay compensation for hiring Dr Conrad Murray who, inadvertently, killed Michael Jackson in 2009. Concert promoters AEG allege that Jackson hired Conrad and that he frequently used anaesthetics.

Rowe married Michael Jackson in 1996 but the marriage only lasted three years. Rowe left their two children with Michael for three years following their divorce, a decision she claims she has no regrets about. She stated: "Michael wanted to be a father, I didn't sign on to be a mom. I loved him very much and still do. I wanted him to be a father, I wanted him to have everything that he didn't have growing up, wanted him to experience it with his own child, his own children."
