The pair seemed to confirm an engagement when she turned up with a sparkler at the Met Gala in May.

However, rumours are plaguing the couple about a relationship on the rocks as Pattinson is in Belfast shooting his new movie The Lost City Of Z for Brad Pitt’s Plan B film company while the singer has been hanging out in Los Angeles.

This has led to speculation of a wedding on hold and schedules that mean the pair never meet.

However, a source has told E! News that this could not be further from the truth and that the engaged twosome are "just fine".

A source said: "There most likely won’t be a wedding this year, but that has been the expectation for months.

"There isn’t a rush to get married. Fall plans turned into winter plans and now there are no specific plans, but they still plan on getting married."

Of course, with one source over here and one source over there and with both sources saying different things it may just be a case of wait and see for the pair.
