Emma Stone (born Emily Stone in 06.11.1988) Emma Stone is an American actress known for her roles in 'Zombieland', 'Easy A', 'The Help' and 'The Amazing Spider-Man'.
Childhood: Emma Stone was born in Scottsdale, Arizona. Her parents were Krista and Jeff who was a contractor. She attended Sequoya Elementary School and Cocopah Middle School while being a member of the Valley Youth Theatre. She was then home schooled for two years while she appeared in plays with the theatre group. She attended Xavier College Preparatory but dropped out in the first year in order to move to LA and continue her acting career while she was home schooled.
Acting Career: Emma Stone's first television role was for the pilot episode of 'The New Partridge Family' 2005. She won the role after appearing on VH1 talent show 'In Search of the New Partridge Family'. Her first regular role was on Fox drama 'Drive' in which she starred as Violet Trimble. She auditioned for 'Heroes' put lost the part to Hayden Panettiere. Her feature film debut came with the 2007 comedy 'Superbad' in which she played Jonah Hill's character's love interest. She learned bass to play band member Amelia in 2008's 'The Rocker' and appeared as a sorority president in 'The House Bunny'. In 2009, she played the title character in 'Ghosts of Girlfriends Past' and starred alongside Jesse Eisenberg and Woody Harrelson in 'Zombieland'. In 2010, she voiced Mazie in 'Marmaduke' and had a leading role in the comedy 'Easy A' alongside Amanda Bynes for which she was nominated for a Golden Globe. She worked with the 'Easy A' director, Will Gluck, again in 2011's 'Friends with Benefits' and had starring roles in 'Crazy, Stupid, Love' and 'The Help' that same year. 2012 saw Emma play Gwen Stacy in 'The Amazing Spider-Man' where she met her current boyfriend Andrew Garfield. She is yet to appear in 2013 movies 'The Croods' as the voice of main character cavegirl Eep and 'Gangster Squad'.
Personal Life: Emma Stone is in a relationship with Andrew Garfield who worked with her on 'The Amazing Spider-Man'. Her husky voice is due to a baby colic she had whereby her persistent screaming and crying caused her to have calluses on her vocal cords. She now lives in Greenwich Village, New York City.
