Josh Hutcherson is an American actor.

Josh Hutcherson was born in Union, Kentucky. His parents are Michelle, a former airline employee, and Chris Hutcherson, an EPA analyst.
He has wanted to be an actor since he was four but only looked at it seriously when he was nine. He later moved to California to pursue it as a career.
Josh Hutcherson: Acting career
Josh Hutcherson made his acting debut in the first episode of 2002 TV show 'House Blend' and he later appeared in an episode of 'ER'.
In 2003, he had the lead role in the comedy 'Miracle Dogs' and appeared opposite Peter Falk and Timothy Daly in the TV film, 'Wilder Days'.
In 2004, he lent his voice to the movie 'The Polar Express' which also starred Tom Hanks.
In 2005, he appeared alongside Will Ferrell in 'Kicking & Screaming' and had lead roles in 'Little Manhattan' opposite Charlie Ray and 'Zathura' which also starred Dax Shepard, Kristen Stewart and Tim Robbins.
He was in 'RV' with Robin Williams in 2006 and then landed a critically acclaimed role in 'Bridge to Terabithia' the following year.
In 2007, he was in 'Firehouse Dog' with Bruce Greenwood
He appeared in 'Journey to the Center of the Earth' opposite Brendan Fraser the following year and 'Cirque du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant' in 2009.
Alongside Annette Bening, Julianne Moore, Mark Ruffalo and Mia Wasikowska, he was in 'The Kids Are All Right' in 2010.
2012 saw him in his biggest film yet, 'The Hunger Games' opposite Jennifer Lawrence.
Josh Hutcherson: Personal life
Josh Hutcherson owns several pets including two dogs called Diesel and Nixon.
He has previously dated Vanessa Hudgens.
He supports gay rights and has previously recorded a video for the 'Straight But Not Narrow' campaign to encourage support for homosexuals. In 2012, he received the Vanguard Award from GLAAD (Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation) for his support.
He is a fan of the University of Kentucky's Wildcats and nearby Ohio's Major League Baseball team, the Reds.
