Lana Del Rey had a "whirlwind romance" with Jeremy Dufrene before they married.

The 39-year-old pop star first shared pictures of herself with alligator tour guide Jeremy, 56, on her social media page in 2019 but did not strike up a relationship with him until recently and after it was confirmed to People on Friday (27.09.24) that they had tied the knot, an insider claimed that the singer had "always hoped" she had found the one she would marry.

A source said: "It's been kind of a whirlwind romance, but Lana's close friends hoped she would get married. Jeremy is different from the men that Lana meets in the entertainment world. He's a great guy. He's charming and charismatic in a Southern way, very much a gentleman and he treats Lana really well. She's an old soul."

The source said: "The wedding ceremony and reception were both held in the same bayou where Jeremy operates his swamp boats tours. This is where they first met. It's a special place for them. It was a beautiful, relaxed and family focused wedding. The focus was just on their love story."

According to the outlet, the couple obtained a marriage license from the Lafourche Parish Clerk of Court in Louisiana last Monday before she walked down the aisle three days later.

Earlier this year, the 'Video Games' hitmaker seemingly referred to Jeremy as her partner in a social media post as she spent time with him and her loved ones.

She wrote on Instagram: "Family w my guy."

Lana is yet to speak out publicly on her relationship with marriage, and although the pair were spotted holding hands together at a music festival in the UK last year, she has not yet confirmed their relationship status.
