The stunt was the 41 year old’s latest protest against theme park Sea World.
Jackass star Steve-O was reportedly taken into police custody on Sunday after he claimed on top of a Hollywood crane as part of a protest against theme park Sea World. Steve-O was said to have been wearing a ‘Blackfish’ T-shirt during the stunt and holding an inflatable orca.

The 41 year old also posted a series of photos and videos documenting the stunt on his Facebook page, the first one, which he titled ‘It's stunt time’ showed his climb to the top of the crane. He later shared a pic of his view from the top showing his shoes standing on a narrow steel beam, captioning the pic “Did I mention that I'm really high in the air? Hearing sirens now.”
Steve-O’s final post of the night was a 17-second video showing firetrucks headed his way with a helicopter overhead.“That is a lot, a lot of f--king firetrucks,” he captioned the vid. “Anyone wanna bail me out of jail?” According to the Los Angeles Times, more than 80 firemen were called to the scene after receiving calls about a possible suicide attempt. The Jackass member climbed down the crane at around 9 p.m., about an hour after his ascent.

LAPD Lt. Michael Ling confirmed to the Times that Steve-O, whose real name is Stephen Glover, was arrested and is expected to be booked ‘on suspicion of trespassing, setting a firework without a permit, and conspiracy to commit a crime.’ Ling added that investigators are still determining what charges apply. "We have other people we need to attend to,” the lieutenant added. “It’s a mess.”
This isn't the first time Steve-O has protested against Sea World, in December, he climbed to the top of a San Diego freeway sign and changed it to read "Sea World Sucks. That stunt landed him a $239 fine.
