It must be extremely difficult to be working for Marvel on a film like 'Avengers: Infinity War'; trying to keep everything shrouded in secrecy when the press and fans are constantly pushing for spoilers. It doesn't help when the actors are leaking information and stealing stuff during filming.

First of all, the props department had to do everything they could to stop the actors stealing everything that wasn't nailed down. Chris Hemsworth managed to steal five Thor hammers from the set in previous films, which he confessed made it 'very difficult to get another hammer from the next movie'.

It seems not even Spider-Man is immune to the odd nasty injury. Tom Holland has broken his nose on a movie set for the third time, and while it is as yet unclear as to what movie it was, it's safe to say that the actor should rethink doing his own stunts.

The 21-year-old remained in good spirits as he revealed to his social media followers that he has managed to bust his nose yet again, with people debating about whether it was on the set of the recently wrapped 'Avengers 4' or sci-fi feature 'Chaos Walking'.

'Spider-Man: Homecoming' director Jon Watts is in talks to helm a sequel.

The 36-year-old movie-maker is reportedly in discussions about directing the next film in the series, which has Tom Holland playing the central role of Peter Parker.

Jon's coming-of-age teen story focused on the high-school life of a young Spider-Man and has seemingly been well received by Sony and Marvel, who have opened talks about a sequel, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

It was a busier weekend than usual at the box office with two monumental blockbusters going head-to-head. This weekend was dominated by 'War for the Planet of the Apes' and 'Spider-Man: Homecoming', with the former taking the no.1 spot.

The latest installment in the Apes franchise still underachieved compared to early predictions with the film grossing $56.5m from 4,022 locations, after being predicted to be around the $60m mark. This puts the film at the same level of 'Rise of the Planet of the Apes', but below the intermitting 'Dawn of the Planet of the Apes' which scored a huge $72.6m domestic opening.

Now 21, Tom Holland is starring in Spider-Man: Homecoming, his first solo outing after rebooting character in last year's Captain America: Civil War. He says that being a child actor-dancer wasn't always easy. "I had my rough patches," Holland says. "There were times when I was bullied about dancing and stuff. But you couldn't hit me hard enough to stop me from doing it! I, like Peter Parker, accepted I wasn't the cool kid at school and just found my group of friends and got on with it. Peter's storyline hits every key point of growing up. It's fantastic to see a superhero going through the things you go through."

Of course, he's the third big-screen Spider-Man in 15 years, after Tobey Maguire (2002, 2004, 2007) and Andrew Garfield (2012, 2014). And he's had run-ins with both recently. "I met Tobey in L.A. at a Baby Driver screening, and he sat, like, right in front of me. I was like, 'Tobey! Tobey! Hi, I'm Spider-Man!' I kind of want Tobey Maguire to play Uncle Ben in the next movie. I think that'd be super funny, but I don't think he'll do it. And earlier this year I met Andrew at the Baftas, and he was so sweet. You know, it really felt like he was passing on the torch. It was a nice, very English sort of 'Hello mate, nice to meet you.'"

The latter might be a more experienced Avenger than Peter Parker, but Robert Downey Jr. is certainly surprised to find himself in such a paternal role.

Spider-Man star Tom Holland has delighted fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe by confirming that his character has been linked with the franchise since 2010, giving credence to a long-standing fan theory.

The rumour generated from a moment in the 2010 superhero film Iron Man 2, where a small boy dressed up as Iron Man is rescued from imminent death from a killer drone by the real Iron Man, played by Robert Downey Jr. Following that moment, some MCU fans had speculated that the boy in question is a very young Peter Parker, who later of course becomes Spidey.

Now, however, the new Spider-Man actor Tom Holland has confirmed that fan theory is actually true to The Huffington Post.
