Alex Turner is an English singer and songwriter.
He is famously known for being the lead singer of Arctic Monkeys.
He has also recorded a side project named 'The Last Shadow Puppets', and also has a career as a solo artist.

Personal Life: Alex is the son of Penny and David Turner, who taught German and music in Sheffield Schools.
Turner took piano lessons whilst at school in Sheffield.
He took a gap year before starting University in order to pursue his musical ambitions.
He said that if Arctic Monkeys had not become successful, he would have studied English at Manchester University.
