Chris Pratt and Anna Faris are agreeing the final details of their divorce, and apparently have agreed to live within five miles of each other in the future, for the sake of their young son Jack.

The pair are currently working out the fine points of their divorce, which they announced over a year ago, and new documents obtained by TMZ suggest that they’re agreeing to live close by each other until Jack has reached sixth grade (11 or 12 years old). As Jack is currently six, that’s at least half a decade.

The documents also indicate that three months’ notice in writing must be given “if for any reason one of them needed to move further apart”, and that they also have to give 30 days’ notice if either of them wants to take Jack out of the country.

The Guardians of the Galaxy lead star Chris Pratt has broken his silence following the dismissal of director of the movie series, James Gunn, by Disney over controversial old tweets, saying it is “not an easy time” for the cast and crew.

The 39 year old actor, who has helped Guardians of the Galaxy become one of Marvel and Disney Studios’ most successful creations of recent years, spoke to the Associated Press in a video interview this week, over a month after Gunn was fired as director after old tweets re-emerged of off-colour jokes about sexual assault and paedophilia.

“We all love James and he’s a good friend of ours, but we also really love playing the Guardians of the Galaxy,” Pratt said. “It’s a complicated situation for everybody.”

Kevin Smith has stepped in to defend Chris Pratt from criticism directed at him this week, after the Passengers actor wished him well in his recovery from a major heart attack a few days ago.

On Monday this week (February 26th), Pratt had taken to Twitter to offer his thoughts after learning that Smith had suffered a “widow-maker” heart attack, speaking about how inspiring he had found the Clerks film-maker’s work.

“Kevin we don’t know each other too good but I have loved you since Clerks and I’m praying my ass off for you cause I believe in the healing power of prayer. Can you please pray with me people!?” Pratt had tweeted.

After they announced their sudden split just over two months ago, Hollywood A-lister Chris Pratt is reportedly “heartbroken” at the recent reports of romance between his ex-wife Anna Faris and cinematographer Michael Barrett that have been in the news.
