The model and actress is said to have had a ‘meltdown’ after her luggage was pulled for a random check.
Cara Delevingne was reportedly detained for more than an hour in Paris after swearing at Eurostar security staff last Thursday (May 12th). According to The Sun the model and actress suffered a ‘meltdown’ after her luggage was pulled aside for a random check before she could board a train back to London.
Cara Delevingne reportedly suffered a ‘meltdown’ while trying to board a Eurostar train last month.
An onlooker told the newspaper: “It was a full-on meltdown in the middle of security. There were at least 20 people around and she didn’t seem to care who saw. It was like she thought she didn’t have to abide by the same rules as everyone else just because she’s famous.”
“Cara was with a friend who was trying to calm her down, but it wasn’t working. She shouted ‘let him do his f**king job, it’s ridiculous’. She got down on her knees and put her hands together as if she was praying for the whole thing to be over. It was bizarre.”

A French security source then told The Sun that many officers are fed up of celebrities acting as if they are ‘above the law’. “Famous people often seem to think the same rules apply to them as everyone else,” the source said.
“But everyone is subject to the same security procedures regardless of how well known they are. Sometimes celebrities will behave as if they are above the law and will be rude for no reason. They need to learn they have to be treated the same as everyone else.”

Cara was then reportedly taken upstairs to a private room away from passengers after screaming ‘f**k you’ at a female officer. She emerged an hour later and according to onlookers looked as if she’d been crying.
“Most people accept that random security checks are important and help keep everyone safe, but apparently not Cara,” a source added to The Sun. “She seemed to think she was immune to it.” Cara eventually made it back to London, where later that night she joined friends and family to celebrate sister Poppy’s 30th birthday.
