Peter Andre has purchased one of Tom Cruise’s mansions in leafy Sussex as he looks to upgrade ahead of his family growing later this year.

The former pop singer and TV star, 43, is reported to have laid out just short of £5 million for the six-bedroom luxury estate in East Grinstead in West Sussex, which Cruise put on the market last year. He and his pregnant wife, Emily MacDonagh and his children have already reportedly moved in.

Cruise is believed to have bought the property in 2003 for around £3 million, according to The Sun.

The 14.2 acres of land is situated near the UK’s Church of Scientology headquarters at Saint Hill Manor. It reportedly boasts a guest house with a further two bedrooms as well as a tennis court, cinema, dance studio and outdoor swimming pool.

Andre has lived in this part of the world before, having previously owned a £1.7 million with his ex-wife Katie Price near the same location and sold it just last year.

He and his 26 year old wife Emily, a doctor by profession, are already parents to a two-year-old daughter Amelia, and he is of course the father of two of Price’s children – 11 year old Junior and 9 year old Princess.

Andre was recently spotted on a family holiday in Orlando, Florida, with his two eldest children. However, Emily made the decision to stay at home because of warnings of the Zika virus being transmitted through mosquito bites in the area – a disease that can affect pregnant women because of a birth defect known as microcephaly that results in children being born with small heads and brain damage.
