New mum Adele has spotted with her newborn son for the first time earlier today, after the singer was photographed arriving at Los Angeles International Airport earlier today (11 Jan), holding her son closely to her chest as she tried in vain to avoid the pap's lenses.

With her son clutched desperately to her chest, the singer has been keeping herself well and truly preoccupied since the birth of her first child, but has at last ventured away from beside the cot as she looks to continue with her career. Of course, she was hardly going to leave her baby behind was she?

The singer is in LA to perform at Sunday's Golden Globes ceremony, where her titular theme song for the latest James Bond movie, Skyfall, is up for a Best Song gong. Earlier this week, Adele completed the tripple sweep of movie award nominations (thats Golden Globes, BAFTAs and the Oscars) after it was announce that she has been nominated for the Best Original Song category at February's awards show. The singer is now rumoured to be appearing at those ceremonies too to sing the Bond hit.

After 51 days, Adele and fiancé Simon Konecki's child is still unnamed as far as we all know, which may end up landing the new parents with a £1000 fine (we're sure she can afford that though) if they have not registered their child in the required 42-day time limit. Can't leave us waiting forever Adele!
