Adele’s fiancé Simon Konecki seems to have managed to pull off a spectacular anniversary present for the singer, showering her and her audience with handwritten love notes at the end of her gig in Nashville this week.

At the end of every show on her current Adele Live 2016 world tour, in support of her album 25, white confetti decorated with handwritten lyrics from her songs drop from the ceiling and scatter over the audience.

However, at the show in question at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on Sunday night (October 16th), a load of pink confetti showered the audience instead, with these shreds of paper featuring love notes that read “You Are An Angel” and “I Love You”, in different handwriting than usual. Fans at the gig immediately starting sharing images of the confetti, speculating that Konecki had arranged it as a surprise for her.

Since they began dating five years ago, charity entrepreneur Konecki and Adele have kept very much out of the spotlight despite her massive worldwide fame. Together, they share three year old son Angelo James.

The 28 year old singer is nearing the end of her lengthy 107-date world tour, with just 13 dates to go before it wraps in mid-November. She told the audience at the same gig in Nashville that she’s feeling broody for a second baby, with Angelo about to turn four this week.

“My son is about to turn four very, very soon. I’m starting to get very emotional about it because I feel like once they turn four, they’re not really your actual baby anymore,” she mused.

“My womb is starting to ache a little bit. It's like, 'Baby, baby, baby. Need a baby, need a baby,'” she joked. “I'm not pregnant. I won't get pregnant until the end of the tour.”
