Adele warned Kelly Clarkson not to rush into motherhood, just months before Kelly announced the news she was pregnant with Husband Brendan's child.
Adele has warned Kelly Clarkson not to rush into having a baby.
The 'Stronger' hitmaker has recently revealed she is expecting her first child with her husband Brand Blackstock just a month after tying the knot, but Adele told her last year not to force time and become a mother too early.
She said: ''I ran into her at the Grammys last year... she said 'Girl don't have a baby because everything else will go on the back burner.''
Meanwhile, the 31-year-old singer, who won the first ever series of talent show 'American Idol' in 2002, took to Twitter earlier this week to share her excitement at becoming a mother for the first time.
She wrote: ''I'm pregnant!!! Brandon and I are so excited! Best early Christmas present ever (sic).''
However, the news didn't come too much as a surprise to the public as the 'Since U Been Gone' star has been open about her to desire to have a baby for some time now.
She said previously: ''More than anything, next I want a baby ... My record label is freaking out because all I can talk about now are babies.
''We're really excited and want to get our family started!''
Kelly's husband has two children, 11-year-old Savannah and seven-year-old Seth, from a previous relationship.
