Adele is known to have suffered with stage fright and gig night nerves throughout her career, so imagine the stress of knowing that you will be performing at the Oscars, with the entire world watching you. Luckily for Adele, she has the help and support of her boyfriend Simon Konecki – also the father of her first child – who she speaks to on the phone whenever she’s feeling in need of someone to talk to.

A source told Closer magazine “when she starts feeling nervous, she calls Simon, they speak all the time and, when she's feeling stressed, he just tells her how beautiful she is and how lucky they are to have their beautiful baby.” Entertainmentwise have reported on the story and added that Simon is keen for Adele to enjoy being out in LA and encouraged her to get as much out of the experience as possible. “He knows she prefers to stay out of the limelight, but he wants her to have fun and not worry,” said the source.

It’s not just Simon giving her a helping hand though. According to The Sun, Adele has been seeing a hypnotherapist in a bid to cure her nerves. Adele will be performing ‘Skyfall,’ the theme tune to the latest Bond movie of the same name. The song is up for an Oscar, with Adele looking to be the likeliest winner in that category.
