The final weekend of the reality show is packed with famous acts
After months of tense auditions, frantic boot camps and endless live shows - The X Factor final finally arrives this weekend (Sat 12 and Sun 13 December). And while the show has often limped through low ratings, it seems that Simon Cowell is pulling out all the stops for the last two shows.
Adele is a big coup for Simon Cowell's X Factor
In a bumper double-episode weekender, a whole host of famous acts will take to the stage during the Saturday show including a long-list of X Factor alumni such as last year’s winner Ben Heanow and previous runners up Little Mix who will duet with last year’s second place, Fleur East.

However, the biggest and the best have been saved for the final, final on Sunday night with One Direction, Coldplay and even Adele confirmed to play.
The three finalists will also take to the stage in amongst all of the big names.

Rita Ora’s Louisa Johnson, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini’s Reggie n’ Bollie and Nick Grimshaw’s Che Chesterman will sing twice during Saturday night’s show including a duet with a famous, as yet undisclosed, singer.

After one act is then evicted, the final two will sing off on Sunday before the eventual winner is announced to the nation.
And following all of that? Another year of panel speculation and format wonder before The X Factor does it all again in 2016.
