Amanda Seyfried claims she has never done a live TV interview completely sober.

The 'Les Miserables' actress - who co-stars in the new movie alongside Anne Hathaway, Russell Crowe and Hugh Jackman - said she always relies on some 'Dutch courage' after noon, as she is so nervous about being grilled.

The 27-year-old blonde beauty told 'The Late Show With David Letterman' yesterday (11.12.12): ''I have to go on record saying I've never done a live television show - after noon - without some kind of liquid courage.

''I'm pretty drunk. To be honest with you Dave, I've had about three. I'm a big fan of whiskey. I had some Midleton. Russell Crowe gave me some Midleton for my birthday and I had some of that before I got here. And then your lovely colleagues had some Jameson waiting for me [backstage].''

The actress also jokingly admitted that while she might ''have a problem, maybe'', she has no intention of giving up alcohol.

She said: ''You know what? It really gets me through, and I really want to enjoy my experience out here because it's special.''

But Amanda insisted she would never end up in rehab and then attempted to brush off her earlier drinking bravado.

She said: ''I don't drink often. I swear, I don't! I've been with the ['Les Miserables'] cast a lot. . . and it's really fun because we all really like each other. None of us really drink.''

Amanda recently claimed every woman in the world wants to have sex with Channing Tatum.

The actress starred alongside the heartthrob in 2010 romantic drama 'Dear John' and she admits he's been her favourite co-star because he's so handsome as well as being such a good husband to his wife Jenna Dewan.

She said: ''Channing was amazing. He's a superstar.

''Everybody wants to have sex with him. And the only person he wants to have sex with is his wife, Jenna. He's the most loyal husband.''
