Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt will reportedly marry in France later this summer, but all the attention is still focused on Jolie's custom made engagement ring, which Pitt had Beverly Hills jeweller Robert Pocop make for his bride-to-be, reports People magazine.
The jeweller says the Hollywood actor "had the vision" for the custom-cut ring, which features diamonds set on a band of yellow gold. An independent expert estimates the ring could weigh in at more than 10 carats in total, with the price tag thought to be around $1 million. Jolie first alerted the press to her engagement after debuting the ring at a private event at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art on April 11, 2012. The couple have been together seven years and have six children together. They had previously spoken of putting off their nuptials until same-sex marriage was legalized across the United States, however, a source said, "They've reached a stage where their family has jelled".
According to the New York Post, Brangelina are likely to marry this summer at their chateau in the south of France, with Hollywood pals George Clooney and Johnny Depp among the invitees. Early reports suggest Brad's ex Jennifer Aniston could even attend the ceremony after giving her blessing to the engagement.
