Angelina Jolie has filmed an emotional new public service announcement (PSA) urging fans to donate aid supplies to victims of the devastating floods in Pakistan.
The Tomb Raider star, a goodwill ambassador for the United Nations (U.N.), has already handed over $100,000 (£66,666) of her own money to help those worst affected and she used her recent publicly tour for new movie Salt to raise awareness of the disaster.
She has now renewed her appeal by filming a video message for the U.N., branding the crisis a "catastrophe" and calling on her legion of followers not to forget the country as aid efforts continue.
In the video clip, she says, "This is not just a humanitarian crisis. It is an economic and social catastrophe. The more support we can give, the greater number of tents, food, clean water and medicine will get to the people in need."
More than 1,500 people have been killed after torrential downpours caused the worst flooding in Pakistan for a century.
