This is not a drill. Here's your teaser for "Better Call Saul"
It’s happening! It’s really happening! Breaking Bad spinoff Better Call Saul now has a trailer, but better still, it has a release date. AMC dropped the video yesterday, touting a February release date. So it won’t be long now, Breaking Bad fans.
Bob Odenkirk finally stars in his own show as crooked lawyer Saul Goodman.
However, if you’re expecting a full trailer with some plot and maybe a few of the new characters thrown in, you’re out of luck. Apparently, the folks at AMC have learned a thing or two about teasers, because this one was just eight seconds long and still enough to get us all excited. Things we learned: Saul Goodman/Jimmy McGill (Bob Odenkirk) used to have hair once upon a time. Err… that’s about it really.

But with six months to go before the premiere, we’re bound to get a few more trailers and some insight into the story. What we know is that the show is a prequel to the events of Breaking Bad. Showrunner Vince Gilligan confirmed as much at AMC’s Television Critics Assn. press tour panel, saying: “You saw on Breaking Bad that we like non-linear storytelling.”
