U2 frontman Bono was so nervous during the band's headlining slot at Britain's Glastonbury festival on Friday (24Jun11), he feared he would vomit during the show.
The band was due to be the star act at the 2010 festival, but their appearance was scrapped when the singer was forced to undergo emergency back surgery.
They finally took the stage at this year's (11) event, on the opening day of the festival, and Bono admits his pre-show nerves made him ill.
He tells Bbc Radio host Jo Whiley, "I wanted to throw up. Whenever you see me giving up a lot of attitude that means I’m terrified. I felt like I was going to retch at the side of the stage."
