David O. Russell has secured Bradley Cooper, Christian Bale and Jeremy Renner to star in his new untitled film.
Bradley Cooper, Jeremy Renner and Christian Bale are set to star in David O. Russell's new movie.
The threesome will be joined by Amy Adams in the as-yet-untitled project, which was created by Eric Warren Singer in what will be his first script.
Charles Roven from Atlas Entertainment will produce the project alongside Richard Suckle.
The film tells the tale of a financial con-artist (Bale) and his mistress (Adams) who are forced to work with a federal agent (Cooper) to turn the tables on other con-artists and mobsters.
Commenting on the casting, Roven said: ''David has put together an incredible ensemble of actors for what is going to be a powerful and emotional drama about one of the most memorable cast of characters in recent history.''
Production begins in February on the East Coast of the US.
The movie will be David's second time working with Bale, Adams and Cooper, and marks his first with Renner.
