Singing superstar Celine Dion has filmed a new campaign video to help raise awareness of premature births.
The Think Twice hitmaker, a mother of three, has teamed up with the World Health Organization to highlight the plight of babies born early.
Dion admits she is shocked by news that one million premature infants die globally each year, and is urging her fans to support World Prematurity Awareness Day on 17 November (12) in a bid to raise money for low-cost interventions.
In the video clip, she says, "I share the concerns and fears of every parent knowing that more than one million babies around the world die every year simply because they didn't get enough time to grow. Let's work together for stronger, healthier babies."
