New dad Channing Tatum has revealed he was medicated for a learning disability as a child in a candid new magazine interview.
The Hollywood hunk sat down with Vanity Fair magazine and opened up about his childhood bouts of depression, caused by his dyslexia treatment.
The Magic Mike star says, "For a time it would work well. Then it worked less and my pain was more. I would go through wild bouts of depression, horrible comedowns.
"I understand why kids kill themselves. I absolutely do. You feel terrible. You feel soul-less. I'd never do it to my child."
Tatum became a first-time father last Friday (31May13) when his wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum gave birth to a daughter named Everly.
