Chris Pratt's Dinosaur Blockbuster Jurassic World Is Breaking More Records At The U.s. Box Office After Securing The Biggest Non-holiday Monday Haul Ever.
The Jurassic Park sequel added $25.6 million (£17 million) to its monster opening weekend thanks to film fans still flocking to cinemas on Monday (15Jun15).
The previous Monday record was set by The Dark Knight in 2008.
Jurassic World has now earned over $234.4 million (£156 million) in North America in its first four days on release and over $550 million (£36.7 million) at the global box office in less than a week.
The blockbuster scored the biggest global launch of all time over the weekend and the second biggest in America, just behind The Avengers.
