To earn the top spot, 'X' outsold its closest competitor, Dolly Parton's 'Blue Smoke - The Best O,' which remains in second place. Coming in third was Eric Clapton's newly released 'Eric Clapton & Friends - The Breeze,' which is a tribute to late singer JJ Cale, the Official Charts Company notes.
Sam Smith still holds onto a high spot in the album charts as his debut album 'In The Lonely Hour' finished this week in fourth position, and rounding off the top five George Ezra's 'Wanted On Voyage.'
