Ellen Degeneres had pizzas delivered to the Oscars ceremony on Sunday (02.03.14).

The 'Ellen' host - who presided over the four-hour awards service - didn't want any of the celebrity guests to have to go without a meal and so she decided to order an Italian feast from Big Mama's & Papa's Pizzeria.

Brad Pitt and Kevin Spacey rushed to the aid of the shocked delivery man and acted as his assistants as they handed out plates and napkins and helped to share out the cheesy slices of pizza.

Actors including Harrison Ford, Meryl Streep, Jennifer Lawrence, Chiwetel Ejiofor - who asked for an entire pizza to himself - Kerry Washington and Julia Roberts all tucked into the pies whilst 'Wolf of Wall Street' star Leonardo DiCaprio refused to take a slice and 'Dallas Buyers Club' award winner Jared Leto accepted a piece for his date for the night, his mother.

When it came to paying the bill Ellen asked Sandra Bullock for a tip for the delivery man but the 'Gravity' actress embarrassingly admitted she had no money on her.

The lucky employee didn't go home empty handed, however as Pharrell Williams used his infamous Vivienne Westwood hat as a tip jar and its believed that the celebrities managed to pool together around $300 for the high-profile job at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.
