Eminem will be playing in London's Wembley stadium on July 11th.

This will be the first time the 41 year-old will have held a concert at the national venue, and he will also be the first rapper to play there.

This will undoubtedly be a huge event.

Em, who hasn't performed in London since 2001, announced the exciting news in a recent Radio 1 interview with Zane Lowe on Tuesday evening (May 6th).

The 'Berzerk' rapper told the DJ he was originally planning to play Hyde Park, but "I know Wembley Stadium's huge," he said, via NME.

He also spoke about wanting to hold one-off shows rather than doing lengthy tours. "I'm not saying I'll never be ready for that again, but right now, this is what's working for me," he said.

Em further discussed the changes his live performances have gone through over the years, with one of them being the incorporation of live musicians joining him on stage.

"It's definitely better. It definitely brings a whole new element to it," he told Zane. "There's a whole different energy. It's louder, it's more in your face, it's more explosive."

This summer already sounds like it is going to be a busy time for the Detroit native as he recently announced a joint summer mini-tour with Rihanna, appropriately called 'The Monster', which will hit three major cities in North America.
