The cities, but not the dates, have been announced.
One of this century's biggest musical reunions is set to arrive this year as GUNS N' ROSES confirm 21 tour dates in a short teaser video, with a line-up that rejoins guitarist Slash and singer Axl Rose for the first time in 23 years. The new dates are in addition to their upcoming appearance at Coachella in April.
Guns N' Roses hit the road again
We knew Axl Rose, Slash and bassist Duff McKagan were doing at least one reunion show this year as the Coachella news had already been announced, but it seems they are extending their tenure this year with no less than 21 further dates. However, we're still waiting on the actual details; the only information they have released is a 15 minute video on their site yesterday (March 25th 2016) featuring the names of US cities where they will be playing. It also plays a snippet of their song 'Patience', worryingly taken from an album entitled 'G N' R Lies' but we're trying not to think about that.
The reunion tour is set to begin in the summer, following their Coachella spots on April 16th and April 23rd held at Indio, California. Speaking of which, surprisingly absent from the city tour list is the band members' home city Los Angeles. They will, however, play in Mexico City from April 19th - 20th. It will be the first time Axl Rose and Slash play together since their 1993 Buenos Aires.
It's also been rumoured that they will hit the UK for Glastonbury Festival in June, though all the headliners have already been announced and we can't imagine Guns N' Roses playing as supporting acts.
