British actress Hayley Atwell has cleared up rumours linking her to Snow Patrol bassist Paul Wilson, insisting her boyfriend was falsely identified as the musician in recent photos.

The Captain America: The First Avenger star is dating a mystery man and she has refused to give up his identity.

Reports recently emerged linking her to the Snow Patrol star after she was spotted kissing a man in Dublin, Ireland, but Atwell is adamant the man she was smooching was not Wilson.

She tells British newspaper The Times, "I don't know where that came from. I've learnt that it's less pressure on anyone I'm seeing if they're not exposed to all this."
