The 43 year-old actress talks about finding family time amidst the Smith's busy work schedules, and linking up with Angelina Jolie to spread awareness of human trafficking.
Even though Jada Pinkett Smith is the matriarch of one of the most talented families in the entertainment business, she and her husband Will Smith will always find time for each other despite their hectic work schedules.
Jada and Will still find time for a date night despite their hectic work schedules
The 43 year-old actress, who currently stars in Fox's TV series 'Gotham,' recently opened up to Health magazine about how, despite being a mother to Willow, 13, and Jaden, 16, manages to attend her and Will's date nights.
"A lot of times, we'll do it at the house because when we go out it can be a little hectic," she said. "So we have different places around our yard where we like to set up a little Arabian tent, pillows, wine and cheese, candlelight. Will likes really thought-out productions."
Jada also revealed that the Smith household like to exercise together in their spare time. "We're a sporty crew," she told the mag. "We like to do stand-up paddling, a lot of surfing. Jaden is probably the most active because he's gotten into cycling, like, eight miles a day."
As well as being a loving mother, the 'Matrix Reloaded' actress also tries to apply her caring nature to areas outside of the Smith's, she recently produced a CNN documentary, titled 'Don't Sell Bodies,' which aims to increase awareness of human trafficking.

"You know, when bad things happen to me, and all this stupid crazy stuff people want to say about us, I just think back to all these resilient young girls I have met who have not just survived this but who are thriving," she told Health. "This kind of work will be in my life forever."
Jada is also brancing out into philanthropy
And in this line of work, Jada collaborated with Hollywood's most famous philanthropist. "Angelina Jolie and I, we're not friends, but when I called her about my human trafficking endeavors, she went all in," se said. "And I really appreciated that because there are not a lot of times that you can call upon people in our business and get serious help. She put me in contact with the people I needed to be in contact with, she sent me books, sent me all the information she had."
"I'm not saying that Angelina and I are, like, girlfriends and kicking it every day," she added, "but when you call another woman who's in a position to lend support to you and she just jumps right in there-that's sisterhood."
